Hey everyone! About a month ago I started using the MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Complexion Starter Kit and have been loving it. I thought I'd do a blog post and if you guys request it I can do an updated foundation routine? Let me know.

This is the best routine for picture perfect skin. It's full coverage and is fast and simple to apply. First, start off with the primer. It's lightweight and engineered with Silica Micro Beads, which deflect light to give a soft focus effect to hide any imperfections. The ingredients nourish and moisturize for a perfect base. To use, I just dab lightly and apply with my fingers, starting in the center and working my way towards the hair line, jaw, and ears. Next I apply the foundation (I'm #117-light but I also have #125 for when I use faux tanner). MAKE UP FOR EVER has made it super simple to find your perfect shade. There are 26, so it's easy to get overwhelmed - that's why there's a shade finder online! The foundation also has micro beads to soften imperfections in photos. I like to use a flat foundation brush to apply in crisscross strokes. The final touch is setting your skin with the ultra-fine powder, a “skin perfector” (also has microbeads). Create a picture-perfect finish with the soft Kabuki brush for flawless application.
