It keeps happening

I keep blushing I mean I go bright red at everything and it is really annoying I counted how many times i blushed in 6 hours and it was 8 I have tried to imagine ice cubes on my face and that doesnt work and i don't only go really red on my cheeks it's on my fore head as well what can I do it is getting in the way of me talking to people!!!!!

Please help!! Thanks in advance xx

Do u get embarassed by every little thing? Because if I did blush, I would probably blush as much as u. I would say, try to not get as embarassed by things by thinking that if other people were in the same situation, they wouldn't get embarassed. I told my friend how many times I get embarassed, and she told me I get embarassed WAY too easily. So just think about whether other people would get embarassed or not. Idk, that might help. I haven't tried that yet, but that might work. Sorry this wasn't much help.

No it was thank you for the advice any help is good :) xxx and I hope it works for you as well xxx :)

I don't really get embarassed  ........ I can't help you by telling you how to prevent it , but I sure can tell you how to hide it ! I get really red when I'm training - so I'm always wearing makeup ! It doesn't need  to be all over your face , though ! Just put foundation on the areas you blush and then set it with a powder ! For me it works amazing - even on my figure skating trainings ( I mean - It's freezing cold , I'm jumping up and down and lets not mention when I fall - all of these ones make me look like  a clown ! I even had my trainer asking me if I was feeling OK :) hahaha )

I never blush, can't remember the last time I did... maybe years ago but that doesn't mean I haven't been embarrassed.. but I also don't get embarrassed very much, the last time I was embarrassed I can't even remember. I guess you have to learn to laugh at yourself, not care what others think, and not take things so seriously. It's easier said than done but once you put youself out there more, you'll get more comfortable with certain situations and grow as a person over time. I'm not the same person I was at the start of high school or middle school, but I'm always able to laugh at myself now. You can't really help if you get embarrassed or not, and you can't predict when you'll get embarrassed because you can't predict life. But I agree with Iana (I think it's Iana or else it's Lana), if you're self conscious when you blush, I'd wear foundation. Though, I really don't think it's necessary. It's normal to blush and it's not embarrassing to blush either, some people have it worse and have permanently red faces or red faces that last for a long time.

Thank you for all the advice it has been really helpful :) Thank you guys so much xxxx :)

omg this happens to me all the time! Beth, thanks for mentioning this problem, i don't know how to deal with it either.. thanks for help gils...xxx

i think you are too shy. that is because you care too much what others thinking about you. and you trap yourself in uncomfortable and anxious statment. thus you are easy to feel embarrased and blush. be more confident and brave, i believe you will get through it.

This used to happen to me as well. I have very fair skin, so when I blush it shows up a lot. I don't blush as much as I used to though. As I've gotten older, I've realized I don't get embarrassed nearly as much. I think it has to do with the fact that I'm now comfortable with who I am and I don't care as much what other people think. If I do something embarrasing I'll just laugh it off and move on instead of dwelling on it like I used to. It's probably also the fact that I surround myself with people who know me well enough to know I'm clumsy at times, so if I embarrass myself by being clumsy, it's no big thing. It's more along the way of, "Oh Amanda tripped again. What else is new?" Lol. I hope this helps knowing that it's something you'll likely grow out of. For now just try to laugh if something happens that embarrasses you or flusters you. Take deep calming breaths and remind yourself that whatever happend to make you blush probably wasn't that big of a deal.

Thank you Amanda that was really helpful thanks for letting me know i wil gorw out of it. Sorry you have to go through this as well ana vranges do you blush easy as well?? xxxxx :) also thanks alice cooper :)

Hello! Aww don't be embarrassed, its cute! Eventually it will go away, as I am sure it will not go on forever. If you really want to stop you can try finding out why you are blushing, and then do something to prevent that from happening. Also try not to let it bother you, when you let your insecurities take over it does not feel good, trust me I know! Try forgetting that it is happening and just let it be. But again, I am sure it is not permanent, just a temporary thing.
