Hey everyone! When it comes to winter fashion, there are definitely three things I like to get each year: scarves, boots, and layering pieces.

Scarves are a seasonal essential for me because they are pretty inexpensive and they can makeover an entire outfit. For example, you can wear one with a plain shirt and jeans and you’ve got yourself a cute outfit. Scarves offer an extra splash of color and style, which is why I stock up on them at the beginning of winter. Forever21 has a nice selection of budget-friendly scarves and so does H&M.

My second must-have is a good pair of boots—specifically Steve Madden boots For the past four or five years, Elle and I have been going to Steve Madden and getting the signature flat boot of the year. We literally wear them all winter long and they’re definitely my go-to shoe of the season. I’m actually wearing mine from last year as I type this!

My third and final winter style essential is actually a category of clothes: Layering pieces! I like to scour stores like TJ Maxx, Ross or Marshall’s because they have great layering items that are inexpensive. I layer tanks and thermals under nicer jackets for an extra pop of color. I think it looks really cool and it adds depth to your outfit too.
